  1. Thanks, Bryan, for all your hard work and your unwavering support and smile. I still hate the stairmaster, though!

  5. I did 30 mins on the treadmill yesterday at varying intensities. I've also been drinking 16-8 oz glasses of H2O the past two days. I've been really watching my portion sizes, writing down everything that I eat and when I eat it. However, I'm feeling like I might be eating too little right now. The most substantial thing that I've had today has been a boneless, skiness chic breast.

I'm expecting to try the yoga class tomorrow morning.

  6. I finally went to Mountain View and picked up the new bike and helmet. I was surprised to find out that my 10 year old helmet might need replacing... I had no idea that these things kind of decayed. Anyway, it makes for a glorious ride and so I took off this morning for yoga class!
I have to admit, we (my husband is on a different team!) are not writing down food, but are sticking close to our "Ab diet" of 6 small meals, low on fat and high on balance.

    Go team!

  10. Why so much Apple Cider Vinegar ???? Yuck =0(

  11. Toni- let's talk 1 on 1 but....replace the cheese with other healthy fats (nuts or nut butters), check the supplement post for a lactose free protein powder choice, replace yeast breads with rice crackers, wasa crackers, or we can talk about other breads you may like that are yeast free.

Jane- apple cider vinegar....studies have shown that consuming vinegar or lemon juice with meals can lower blood sugar by as much as 30%. The acidity in these foods helps slow digestion. Slower digestion helps keep your blood sugar level, enhancing and sustaining fat burning.

GREAT questions!!! Keep them coming as you mentally process through all this information.

  12. Hi Bryan...still a little confused about the group work out and how many points it is worth..I was told by another team member that there coach told them .08...the front desk told me .047 and a person from our group told me today we don't get to take any points because we got team points for showing up ???? Can you please help me with this !!!!
    Thanks Jane

  13. The last chance workout points will be different for each individual depending on your personal level of intensity. Here is a range from what I saw on Thursday. .05 for those being hesitant due to injuries or deconditioning .08 for those who maxed out the cardiovascular system. If the muscles were burning and their was frequent concern of passing out, then take a .08 For now, acquiring your minimum points should be a breeze. The last few weeks I will get more specific for individuals. To all who attended....great job!!
